Who Am I?

I must be crazy...RIGHT? Of course I had to be, because I taught High School English!!!! I am on a bit of a hiatus from teaching at the high school because I recently had a baby, but I still want to help kids learn how to enjoy reading. My goal as a teacher is to get everyone doing it. I have seen students that have never read a book turn around and learn to LOVE reading.

Enthusiasm and understanding are the keys that I use to help develop reading skills. I know how important of a skill being able to read is, and I also believe that the better reader you are then the better writer and overall student you are.

Let me help your students develop and hone in on their reading and writing skills. I will do it in a way that helps them have a desire to do it more!
